Very cute, the annoying drama didn't last too long. Abe (ML) is a cutie. Get you a man who will buy a giant pink teddybear for his niece.

IDK What series' description they were writing here, but it's not this one. The main character is NOT an actress named Wendy, it is an Italian princess who has taken refuge from politics and the press in a quiet coastal American town. She runs a gallery there, when one day, a good-looking businessman arrives. He's there to buy land and build a massive hotel, and she's there to teach him about small-town magic while also trying to protect her secret identity.

Two families, two single parents with four children each! The oldest of each family meet in detention and decide that the solution to their problems is to get their parents to marry each other. Antics and romance ensue.

ML is a stubborn fool and the secretary is annoying as all getout. FL is (understandably) a bit of a wet blanket and I wish we'd been shown more of her virtues than the one scene where people are listing them off. ML does get bonus points for clearly caring very much about his children.

A nice quick read, no spice but lots of fluff! Honestly wouldn't have been remiss if they had expanded it further, but it is a Harlequin series, after all. No annoying drama.

Basically no spice, and very cute. The artwork is stunning, ML is a babe. The artist gave him charmingly wolfish features, I'm a fan. As per usual for a Harlequin, it's pretty stripped down but it serves as a nice Christmas treat!
